Perhaps the wording is specifying "attacks": maybe if the mummy falls off a
cliff, it takes the damage, since the fall isn't an "attack". I'm kinda
reaching here, but it would make some sense. This way, the only one who can
destroy the mummy in that situation is... the mummy.

Any other ideas?
