You will not hear a more important note about this adventure anywhere.

In the heart of darkness NEVER EVER refer to Old pete's friend as STONE.  
Call him Jasper.  This will throw the party way off the track and by the 
time they figure out the ruse they'll be in big trouble.  The best thing for 
stone to do is nothing.  He doesn't need to help the party or even attack 
them in this adventure.  So just use the death mask power once to make him 
look normal and beat up.  Don't let him say anything and never let the party 
know who he is.

I did just that and the look of shock and suprise when I revealed not one 
but 2 stones was just to farkin much.  I busted a gut laughing because they 
couldn't believe that they had let the biggest baddest harrowed on the 
planet out of a cell in the bottom of the world.
