[DL] Campaign idea (any suggestions?)

Wassup.

The players begin in Springfield, IL where Abe's tomb is currently
located. They stumble onto a plot to exhume the body of Abe Lincoln for
diabolic purposes. Pinkerton agent Anagram requests the PCs help in
rooting out the conspirators and putting an end to the scheme. Along
with Bishop the PCs rush into Lincoln's tomb where they saw three men
enter. They quickly dispatch them and notice that the coffin is empty.
These cultists are here as backup should anything go wrong and hide in
the tomb rather than have five men digging up a grave. The plan is to
quickly exhume the body, crack open the empty tomb so that it will be
believed that they dstole the nonexistant corpse, and make a fast
getaway in a nearby steam-car. Instead, the PCs easily bust up the
three cultists in the tomb, discovering the empty casket. Insert
confusion here.

On the way out they spot two gravediggers huddled in a grave next to the
tomb marked "Unknown". These are two more cultists posing as simple
grave diggers doing the actual work. This grave does contains Lincoln's
actual corpse. Agent Anagram is killed in the ensuing fight and dies
lamenting a lifetime spent following an imposter. She gives them her
signet ring and tells them to go to Center City, CO [Center City is a
small town I whipped up for another campaign idea that I'm using here,
but it could just as easily be any town out west. -Ed] and talk to
"Simone" (giving them the secret code words which will insure her trust,
of course.) Simone will provide them with the location of the rest of
her cell members and the means of gaining their trust. She then dies.

At this point Evil-Abe shows up with Pinkerton Cell B to kill the PCs
and return Abe's corpse to its rightful place. This cell of Pinkertons
is led to believe that the PCs are the cultists. Now the PCs must flee
west to hide from the Agency while they search out the surviving members
of Cell A and try to figure out how to stop Evil-Abe. This leads to
further adventures along the way, natch.

Long after the PCs and Pinks are gone the PCs recieve a vision: the
body buried in the "Unknown" grave crawls out. But the PCs are left to
wonder who is in command, Abe or something else... [A manitou, seeing a
chance to wreak havoc on the Pinkerton's enters Abe's corpse, but good
ol' Abe is too much and quickly asserts full Dominion...maybe. Plenty
of time to decide that later.]

Other thoughts...
Down the line: Evil-Abe makes life difficult for the PCs as he sends
the members of Cell B after them. While the PCs are not wanted
criminals for the incident in Springfield (Evil-Abe doesn't want word
getting out about his tomb) they will have to deal with some pretty
tough recurring villains.

The New-Abe tracks down the PCs and asks for thier help in overthrowing
Evil-Abe. and of course the beauty of the set up is the classic evil
twin conundrum: Which Abe is the good Abe? Are either of them good?

Finding each member of Cell A will be the subject of a future
adventure. Some of them may be dead, retired, or not want to be found.
