Well, Phinnius Guage lived for about a month with a
hole going all the way through his head.

I actually had a MS that made an invention that was
plugged into the back of his brain. It was an antennae
that recieved signals from his remote "spy". It was
like a RC car that had a video camera mounted on it
and sent signals to the antennae straight to his
occipital lobe. If he ever failed a reliability check
(which he did) he would lose his sight because of the
implant. Nifty little gizmo.
