Re: [DL] Hucksters

I've done some studies. And a little research to boot. Combat huckseters
are not hard to pull off but the right aplications must be used. First off
don't use spirit based hexes. They don't do enough damage for the price and
they are a poor use of skill points. Smarts and cognition based hexes are
much more powerful and versitile.

Next i've run through a number of variations and found that the most you are
likly to get out of an average 5 to 7 card draw is a pair. Only about 2
hands of the deck will be over two pair on average. I've run the deck
through some permeatations of 5, 6,7 and even higher card draws and only at
about 8-10 cards do you get consistantly decent hands say three of a kind
and up. But you also only get about 2 run throughs the deck before you hit
joker. At which point you just reshuffle.

So plan around useing the pair to two pair range and get a decent sidearm.
I've often found that shoot first spellcast when you run out of bullets is a
good way to go. It saves your skills and your deck for the hard stuff.
