Our current game has been going for about a year now, with games on Sundays
probably every 1.5 weeks on average, so I'm guessing maybe 35-40 sessions.
Out of 5 players, a couple are on their third characters, two more are on
their 4th characters, and one on his 5th.

Admittedly, one of the players on his 4th character changed twice
voluntarily because he keeps playing a character for a while, and then comes
up with a new concept that he "just has to try" so in both cases I have used
that as an excuse to kill the character REALLY messily, but in general I
don't gun for characters, the players are good at handing me their
characters' heads without my help :-)
