I love Deadlands, and wish it all the success in the world, and will
continue to  support it.

However, I'm just afraid that my favorite system may sink into the same
stale obscurity ("we're still around but don't really do anything new")
that Hero games has. 

I hope not, but that thought keeps haunting me.

Before the buyout, I was becoming a little worried that maybe Pinnacle
had bit off more than it could chew with introducing too many product
lines too quickly, and then they get bought by a company that is doing
the same thing.

On the otherside, I do remember that it took WOTC a little time after
they bought TSR, but now D&D is doing better than ever.
