[DL] Old System To New System Question

Hello All,

I have a mechanics questions that I can't find on the
archives.  I own the "2nd Edition" printing of the
game and just bought the Marshal's Law screen which
seems to still go with the first printing.

Converting any changes on the tables, of which I don't
think there are many if any, will be easy but I was
looking through the two adventures that came with game
and noticed 2 big differences.

1) The end of the chapters list bounty points award
instead of Fate Chip awards.  I'm assuming I can just
covert these two equivalent Fate Chip awards no
problem.

2) The quick reference NPC list at the end of the
adventure that lists Minor NPCs have an entry called
Hits.  Most of them have Hits: 30 but one has Hits:
40.  Now, I thought that combat hadn't basically
changed between the two editions.  Perhaps, I over
looked something.  But what does this entry mean?

Any help would be appreciated.
