I'd like to say before this happens that this would be a VERY bad idea.
Sticking a book in a scanner puts quite a lot of stress on the binding, and
this one sounds QUITE old, hence things may not be held together that well
anymnore to begin with.  However, if Tenebros has one of those hand-held
scanners that you run along the thing you want to scan, then I think that
would be O.K. as those are made for scanning things like books.
