[DL] Newbie

 Hey folks,

 I just joined the list yesterday, and it's looking damn good so far.  My
 name's Shane, I'm from Ireland (yah boo, it's cold) and I just started
 GMing a Deadlands campaign about a month ago.  I'd played a few sessions
 of the game as a PC about a year ago (Texas Ranger huckster, with D12s all
 over the place and both jokers in his character generation) but our GM
 started not turning up so the campaign fizzled.  I'd been getting tired of
 running Shadowrun, and the Deadlands system is groovy, and it's a
 fantastically fun game, so it was the obvious choice, and I haven't regretted
 it for a second.

 For those who are interested in such things, the posse currently consists of
 a huckster, a gunslinging kid and a Chinese kung fu guy.  The mad scientist
 had to move out of Dublin and so couldn't play anymore, and the Texas Ranger
 blessed met a nasty end during the last game we played.  I've been using
 pre-made scenarios for the time being, starting with the one from the back
 of the Marshall's Handbook and then the All That Shimmers one on the Pinnacle
 website.  Not sure what's next... I might wing it for a bit.

 Anyway, just doing the intro thing.
