the impression that the list was for discussion of all things Deadlands.
*Sigh* Perhaps someone should post a list of topics that are "dead" and no
longer appropriate for discussion.

Hey, don't sweat it. I think Shane's words came across _much_ harsher than
he intended. I doubt they were directed at you so much as the list in
general to prevent a mass discussion on the particulars of PEG's design of
sourcebooks. :-)

The "discussed...voted on" comment refers to internal company decisions, by
the way, not an list vote. We do listen to what you guys have to say--as any
of the old-timers on the list can attest--however, we don't necessarily
steer the ship by list comments. If the sourcebook/adventure topic got
rolling like some others have in the fairly recent past, it's likely we'd
have seen two weeks of debate over a moot point. :-)

Shane's a busy guy right now and was just succinct in his answer. By all
means, this list is open for opinions--heck, it's not even a PEG list; a
really cool couple of fans set it up and manage it. There are a few company
employees on here (some _way_ too much... <g>) both as a courtesy and to get
a chance to interact with the coolest folks in the world.

Hope that clears it up a little,
