I agree with the above statements.  Tombstone was an action movie based on
historical events.  Wyatt Earp was a historical drama.  Granted I don't care for
Costner that much but I feel that he caught the historical bland Earp very well.
I always felt too that Kilmer's Doc was a bit wonky by comparison to the
historical figure.

I liked both movies.  I am a historian so guess which one I like better.
