No, my .sig is exactly 8 lines long. As for confidentiality notices my
company may attach to my message, well, I have no control over that.

And yes, I do feel there is a difference anyway. There is no reason to quote
an entire message, you should snip it and only responding to the specific
thing being quoted. It's bad enough when someone quotes an entire message
then responds at the bottom, but it's even worse (IMO) when someone replies
to a message, and then through pure laziness leaves the entire message (the
entire message THREAD, in this case) attached to the bottom of the message.
OK, regular readers can simply close and delete the message, but digest
subscribers don't have that ability.

Plus, it's mentioned in the listserv rules, and for a good reason.
Specifically, the one I just outlined.
