Your brain is not functioning right.

What's missing is the decimal places lost due to
rounding.

I'm not sure what the results were when you looked at
the poll but presently they are:

The Black Circle  (133) 49%
Great Weird North  (114) 42%
Other  (24) User-Suggestions 8%
Total Votes: 271 

Mathematically 49+42+8 = 99, so where did the last 1
percent go?  It was lost due to rounding.  Look at the
real numbers 133+114+24 = 271, so all votes are
accounted for.

Without rounding the results are
The Black Circle  133/271 = 49.077490774907749077 blah
blah blah
Great Weird North  114/271 = 42.0664206642066 blah
blah blah
Other 24/271 = 8.856088560885608856088560 blah blah
blah

Because the 'Other' catagory is <9 it was rounded down
to 8.

No one is trying to hide the 1 or 2 % so as to skew
the results to stop GWN from being printed, it's just
the way computers work.

To be honest, the results of the poll will not
guarentee anything.  It is just a tool PEG is using to
help them make a decision and may have no bearing on
the actual descision made.
