DL WW Players Guide pg 182 under the heading Shamans and Faith  "Whenever a 
Shaman is called upon to make a faith roll, he may use his ritual skill 
instead"



Actually while marshaling I've found that Shamans probably have the easiest 
time of any arcane background (actually it's a toss up between them and the 
blessed).  Shamans always know if a favor will work it's just a matter of 
them having enough appeasement, and since they can store it in their guardian 
spirit this usualy isn't a problem.  The fact that their guardian spirit 
doubles appeasement for certain favors can be quite problematic for a 
Marshal, and if that shaman has a relic linked to the same type of favors 
then that appeasement is tripled!!  This leads to some truly ridiculous 
charecters especially if the shamans guardian spirit favors war.
