All is not lost, if you wanted to use the rest of this adventure. After a couple of weeks have the party start to get strange looks, people makeing signs to ward off evil, and then see their faces on wanted posters.  Wanted for the massacure at the town, have the story go out that the PC's went beserk gunning down and mutilating everyone in that town, and have done it to a few others.  The better prove their innocense right quick, before some one lynch's them. he he he :)
