[DL] Ideas? [Goff & anyone who can help]

I killed my entire party last night.

It felt nice. Normal, i hate to say, I'm a pretty nice guy. And a real story oriented GM. I hate 
killing off PC's because i have to many other things planed for them down the road....

But, I killed my entire party last night.

they were all "good" kills. I was running a sequel to "Adios A-Mi-go" that i had concocted 
myself. In this one, a Mad Scientist buy the name of Marcus was responsible for the device 
that helped bring the Mi-go to the Weird West. 

He had been the assistant to Maximilon Arcanus, a NPC Mad Scientist in my game. When 
Max decided that the "keyhole" device was too dangerous to work on; Marcus (who had 
become obsessed with the images he saw in its magnetic Fields ) absconded with the 
blueprints and built a new version in a small town called New Jerusalem ( insert published 
adventure here ).

Now much later, The Mi-go have managed to restart the original (much larger) device built 
by Arcanus. the posse fought their way to the mountain lab of Dr. Arcanus and found it to be 
phasing in and out of reality with some sort of other worldly blasphemous construct.

To try and make a long story shorter. they killed the Mi-gos and took out Marcus, who's 
brain had been removed and placed in a Automation built buy the Mi-go. they explosion of 
Marcus' body destroyed the portal and killed most of the party (thanks to Mr. Goff and the 
new Massive damage rules).

This gave me the chance to follow up with a story idea I've had on the back burner for a long 
time. they are all going to wake up in new bodies, summoned and inserted into the corpses of 
recently fallen soldiers in the trenches of World War One. their Mental traits, with all new 
Physical traits. the person responsible will be Oliver (the Barber/Great Race of Yith from the 
first adventure). it seems he needs their help for something and has "harrowed" them for this 
purpose with the promise that he can send them back and set things right....

Now, my questions

1.) i don't know much of the time line beyond the Weird West. What is going on during 
WWI? are there new thing mentioned in HoE i should look up? like Scykers?

2.) My best idea for a bad guy right now is Dr. Fu-Manchu... if my poor retelling has inspired 
anyone with other thoughts please share them.

3.)And lastly, a general "what would you folks do"? I want to make this fun. and this List is 
such a great way to get new ideas that I'd like to hear more stuff to feed my all ready feverish 
imagination.
