[DL] Mein vs roleplaying...
This one is tough. The way I look at it is players are trying to roleplay
their characters. Fast talking your way out of a situation with a PC that
has a d4 in mein is NOT roleplaying your character. Roleplaying a character
with a d4 in mein means you're stuttering, stammering, and just not good at
convincing people to do what you're saying.
So, in game terms, I'd let them "roleplay" as much as possible, but give a
big ol blue chip to the player whose character had a d4 in mein starts
trying...and fails misserably...because he is actually roleplaying his
character, not just roleplaying.
Them's my thoughts...

My one prob with this is:
when I ran it, we went through the dialog with RPing so much that most of
the rolls were not made because we were talking things out so much. Not a
bad thing, good old fashioned RPing is great, but it allows some PCs to
neglect some skills. I just don't easily know how to say "we need to stop
this conversation while you roll some dice".
ya know?
