[DL] Independence Day: Music

Howdy people,

Even though I run the risk of harrowing the old 'mood music'-thread, I am going to ask this:

I am going to run the conclusion of Independence Day on Monday. Does anyone have suggestions for good music for this scene? Something that catches the tension and danger of the scene, as well as something that is good for dramatic purposes. Think that some classic music might be good, but I don't know the titles.

Also, what was the national athems of the Union and the Confederation back in the 1870s? I don't think the players will enjoy me singing the current one.... nor the Canadian one... or anything else for that matter.
