[DL] Listserv via the webpage = potential big bad [Shane, Allan, Goff-in]
Just a thought regarding the new link on the webpage that explains how to
subscribe to the listserv (http://www.peginc.com/news/list.htm)...
It probably either a) shouldn't mention deadlands-ot, or b) should warn
potential subscribers that the OT list is not actually related to deadlands
and is generally 18+ material.
I hate to imagine new (and potentially young) deadlands players, interested
and keen on the game, who read the page and think to themselves "Wow!
Deadlands *and* Deadlands-ot! TWO list servers! I'll subscribe to both" and
getting his or her first email from the OT listserv which is more than
likely to contain the words <censored> ,<censored>, and <censored>, and is
also quite likely to discuss the fine art of <censored> someone's <censored>
into someone else's <censored>, or (from current threads) discuss sheep
farting.
It's kind of likely to put the "keen" crowd off a little, methinks. And
their mothers and fathers who buy them deadlands sourcebooks...
Still, over to you.
