     Well, there's always drowning, decapitation, boiling, immolation, the 
firing squad, slicing, strangling, or that lovable old favorite: drawn & 
quartered. ;-)

     Alternatively, you could have a crooked judge who is willing to give her 
freedom in exchange for money or other services.
