[DL] the town

The town of millers flat is situated in 
northeren kansas a bit west of laurance.  The 
main feature of the town is the cattel 
exchange.  Here the conway family buys the 
cattle from a number of small racherrs in the 
area and then covers the cost of driving them 
to dodge.  Other promnetn fixtures are jacks 
place, the chatolic church and the grange hall.

For the most prat the town is owned by Conway 
famly.  The conways are a good catholic famly 
who run the cattle exchange and enjoy being the 
big fish in thier small pond.  They do run the 
town rathr farly and arn't bad folcks.

The Catholic church is in the care of thomas 
holden a retired member of the adenturers 
sociaty.  He was lured to the town by promses 
of a church built to his wishes by the conway 
family.  Unbenonced to the parishners the chuch 
holds a relquary were the priest gaudes 
dangerus artifacts found by other members of 
the sociaty.

jacks place is a small gambling hall on the 
south side of town near the graveyard.  Jack 
won the place from the privius owner in a high 
stacks card game nearly three months ago.  
since then all in onw calls it is jacks place 
and locals don't even rember it's old name.

The grange hall is a place that the ranchers 
use to meet and discus busnes and settle 
disputes (when possibul) Since brother amos, a 
circut riding preacher has come to town they 
have also started holding meatings and revivals 
here.

one last emportent peace of relstate is the 
Westering house.  It sits just outside town on 
a small hill and has been vacent for nearly two 
months since the westrings have heaed farther 
west.  It was recntly moved in to by an old 
widow and her asistance.  But more about them 
in the hag.
