According to Book o' the Dead, a Harrowed gets ten points to buy powers, with
the cost being double the powers level he or she is buying it at. I.E. Unholy
Host 3 costs 6. Then the Harrowed has to buy at least five points of new
hindrances to pay for that which result from his death. There's a few great
harrowed specific ones in BOTD.
Now, that covers five of those ten Harrowed power points....
Spoilers
The other five points come from Blind Spots, a 5 point hindrance which
basically means the character has lost control to the Manitou in the past
(probably several times), did something despicable, and doesn't remember.
This is your excuse to keep making up hideous things to come back and haunt
him as neccesary to the plot. There's a whole shopping list of tricks to
pull on page 81-82 of the BOTD.
On another note can anyone tell me any tricks for making Los Diablos truly
scary before they appear? My players are in the 3-5 Grit region and I point
want the pounding hooves thing to get repetitive.
