I've just started trying out some new inventions and with all the failed
research I'm doing I want to know how much time i've wasted.  Is research
time the same as the construction time on the mad scientist table or is it
the 8 hours mentioned in the text for failure.  I know it's half the regular
time but what is the regular time.

Second I want to post my latest invention for all the budding mad scientists
out there.

A set of magnets is propelled around a spool of ghostrock coated copper wire
to produce an enormous ammount of energy which is then transfered via the
vibration matrix to the item of your choice in either Kenetic or Static
Energy.  Kenetic energy accelerates the object to a tremendous velocity and
then launches it in the direction pointed by the vibration matrix, If the
energy if Static the molecules in the object begin to vibrate in such a way
as to cause the object to explode in a short amount of time.

This invention will be the bassis for many new ones to follow includeing
power armor, and a piano launcher that my group has been playing with for
some time. Should also make a neat gauss weapon or explosive detonator.
