[DL] High Noon- and some great news!
High Noon's on the web, along with the following from that Dancin' Fool,

A Note From Shane

The question most commonly asked by our wonderful fans is: when are you
going to have miniatures again? "Great Rail Wars, Grim Crusade, High
Noon--we don't care! We just want more Deadlands minis!"
So we responded. We've kept this news close to our chest because we didn't
want to announce the return of the game until we were sure we could make
the miniatures once again. We are, and they'll be available here in June.
Why direct only? It's a bit complex, but basically, we don't want to
reintroduce products into distribution and stores after what happened two
years ago. The details aren't important, but bad decisions were made by
former management to stop producing miniatures.

The core group here was very happy with our sales, the award-winning game,
and the constant stream of fan mail. Most importantly, we loved playing
Great Rail Wars. But to reintroduce it through the regular chains takes a
major investment in money, time, and resources. That's what Grim Crusade
was going to be. That project was also killed by the same process, and
likely would have died in a market now crowded by miniatures games.
Now that we're back on our own again, we decided not to fix what wasn't
broken, and are returning Great Rail Wars back to its original schedule.
That means Grim Crusade will appear as a Dogs o' War supplement as it was
always intended.
The Great Rail Wars, related books, and the miniatures, will go right back
into our product list as they were before, but only on the web. If our
distributors demand it, we'll eventually print High Noon for real and
rerelease everything into the chains again, but we won't do that anytime
soon. We'll probably do the Hell on Earth or Lost Colony games we had
planned first so that they'll be "fresh" and won't enter the market with
any kind of preconceptions.
So forget the game sold out in the first year and was never reprinted.
Forget that we sold hordes of miniatures and left them unsupported.
Consider it a long hiatus. The game is back--thanks to you--and we couldn't
be happier.
I'd like to give a special thanks to Don Hawthorne, Pat Phalen, Richard
Renallo, Mark Mentzer, Allen Seyberth and all those folks on the listserv
who wouldn't let the Rail Wars roll on without them. Thanks for the
support, fellas.
