Ok this Southern Gentleman what flaws does he 
have?
If he has honorable have word that this enemy of 
has insulted his family's honor.
If he any sort of obligation use that to draw him 
in.
I could go on if I knew more of what you had to 
work with. Just remebr use what you have to work 
with. If the charcter has as much depth as you 
have said they will most likely have given you 
things to work with .It's just a matter of 
looking for them.
