When I ran it, I pretty much dropped the lake idea. The rope led down to one
end of a huge cavern, and the cultists etc were at the other end. It was
just too damn tricky to work the water in, and I could see potential
problems with the posse getting back across the lake and up the rope with
lava cascading after them.
