In that case, it's a mortal sin if you even touch your gun
(inside joke for army guys)

Seriously, though, consider that that this is a GOD you are
dealing with.  In my games, self-defense means you are
walking down the street and someone shoots at you.

If you and your posse tracked the bad guys back to their
hidey-hole and the lead starts flyin, sorry...
Better hope you don't need to heal anyone after the dust
settles...
