RE: [DL] NPR and the Civil War
Actually, that would be WVTF, 89.1. "Bud" Robertson has been doing his
little Friday morning deal for a couple of years now, and it is in fact a
blessing to the half-awake history buff. In fact, during pledge time on WVTF
you can often get tape sets of his little 5 minute weekly vignettes.
Dwelling in Blacksburg for over 6 years myself, I heard a lot of that man.
BTW, Robertson is widely known in the Civil War history field. He's much
more than just "a history professor at Virginia Tech." ;)

However, he does sometimes talk like Elmer Fudd. A friend of Chris
McGlothlin's and myself had a friend who took one of Robertson's classes.
Skip's time in that class led to him regaling us with some classic
"Wobertsonisms"
"And it wained, and it wained..."
"The devastation was absowutewy howwable."
