[DL] Epitaph #1 and Deadlands Diskwars

Hey all,

My buddy just gor back from Gama and brought a suprise for me. A copy of
Epitaph #1 that he got from PEG. I didn't get too long to look at it, but a
few things of note struck me. First off, it's grey, not the usual flame
orange or green. It has a full color section, with a comic in it, and it
looked very sharp. It starts with an adventure, Trouble at Table Rock, that
has Dinasaurs in it. Some HoE stuff that I breesed over. They also appear to
have mispelled Allans name on the inside front cover, where they list him as
a PEG employee (?). In the back there was an add for a Diskwars style
Deadlands game, either made for or in conjunction with Fantasy Flight Games.
It looks similar to DW, but has more stats and such that lead me to believe
that the rules are somewhat different. Best of all, the add features a Stone
disk. Supposed to be out sometime in June. Can't wait, must have.

Oh, one more thing. He also said that PEG was showing off a cold cast statue
of a Hanging Judge that will evidently go on sale for something like 150
bucks, but he didn't have any other info on that one. Drat. Looks like I
need to sell a kidney again.
