It's really up to the Marshal to make the call as to when to award an Arcane
chip (for anyone who is not "in the know", check out

I designed the chip as an award not for *using* arcane powers a lot, but for
the posse defeating a major arcane source (award in similar situations to
legend chips). On the other hand, I can see the justification for your
example - the chip represents the fickleness of arcane energy, so the
"overuse" of arcane energy in a small area in a small period of time could
"stress" the veil between the normal world and the hunting grounds, causing
a fluctuation in the ambient arcane energies, which could be represented by
the awarding of an Arcane chip, so yes, either way works for me I guess.

If it was that beneficial, I hope your marshal slammed you with a suitably
huge compensation trait afterward :-) Hmmm... what would I have done.
Something that reflects the increased Deftness. Blatant Cheetah coloration
to the skin perhaps, duration depending on how much extra deftness the power
gave you. Something like that.
