Thanks.  That was about what I'd have done if the posse hadn't maliciously
gunned down the poor defenseless black magician in his own home before he
had a chance to use it.

Important safety tip for future reference: if you are bad guy planning to
ambush heroes in your living room, at least try to get their guns off them
first.
