[DL] A question.....wound penalties and healing?

Hi all,

quick question for any Marshalls out there.

When a player makes a natural healing roll do you make him subtract his
wound penalty from any roll?  Or do you, as I have been doing, assume that
the penalty is included in the target number.

i.e. target for recovering a light wound is 5.  Player rolls a 5 on his
vigor check, does he then make it or do you then subtract his -1 for wounds,
in which case he fails it.

I`d appreciate any views
