[BNW] JFK and the next pres.



I think BNW america faces a terrible seccession problem.

You've got two things going on: a fairly strong resistance movement
going up against the president, Delta Prime and martial law in general.
But the resistance is terribly fragmented, with not only the various
Defiance sub-groups but also groups like Free Texas just itching for the
chance to break away.

So besides being a multi-faction civil war, you also have a couple of
nasty outside enemies (most notably USSR, but also the warlords of
Mexico and the powerful Japanese) also waiting for the US to collapse in
on itself.

Personally...I see the best way out would be the defiance getting better
PR..fighting it's way to respecatability (and getting the delta warriors
under a tight leash) and then supporting the next president once the old
fart is gone.  Kind of like real-world Russia..you don't start the
reforms until the old-gaurd is out or seriously weakened.

But that's just my thoughts...
