I have no problem with incorporating the "big picture"
Bargainers/Covenant/angel/demon thing into any overall storyline we develop.
Although again, this is the kind of thing that would (hopefully) be guided
by player input. For instance, if we ran a "Do the Bargainers get wiped
out?" storyline and the majority of players and GMs play it out and say
"Yes," that's probably going to have an effect on what the Bargainers do
down the road, in the "big picture" or just in our little backwater
dimension.

My gripe with the Truth thing, although it was perhaps unavoidable, was that
the Covenant book was really...well, casual about their hosting the Defiance
server, the fact that they were now public renegades like any other Delta,
and that Truth was in the slammer. This casualness made it seem like it was
tacked on, which may indeed have been the case if Matt was moving to get it
in there (and it was based on last year's Origins BNW event, as was
mentioned at the time) before publication ceased.
