That was merely an example, which I thought I made clear (with the words 
"For example..." or thereabouts :) ). The Bargainer thing would be another 
example.  And so on.

Also, quite frankly, the bit with Truth in the Covenant is thrown in as 
somewhat of a fait accompli - both her capture and her release.  And 
arguably, it may be something a lot of folks are unaware of, given that the 
book had no power packages (other then the restated and mildly expanded 
Covenant itself) and to some degree was part of the whole "big supernatural 
backstory" thing that some folks weren't happy with.

Regardless, it's a good example of the kind of major story/development 
element that _should_ be played out in such a format.
