Did you ever read Excalibur's "across time caper"? Alternate reallities are
great plot ideas. Superior could easily replace Kennedy as dictator. Of
course you could say that no alpha has ever appeared at all. History would
probablly be closer to our own. Or you could have your players prevent the
assassin all together. My players have decided that if they can build/ steal
/ borrow/ whatever a time machine that's what they'll do.
I just had an idea, if you want to really depress your players. Have them
slide to world after world where the BNW setting is dominate. There are
plenty of chances for the DRA through out the last 50 years. Plus Nixon and
Reagan could easily have been dictator in that situation. I'll stop rambling
now.
