True, but Flyers would probably make excellent zero-g combatants (or
engineers), and Bouncers would probably have a ball..

There has to be at least one... I mean, who *hasn't* thought of a
Gadgeteer/Tough who has an orbiting space station, from which he/she plots
their evil actions? I mean, perhaps outer space was one of the places
somewhat "immune" to the effects of the Bicentennial Bomb...
And there has just *gotta* be that secret base on the moon...

NASA would have been dominated by Kennedy, and Kennedy might spend money on
spy equipment, but I doubt he'd give in to the more "frivolous" activities
like sending people into space...
However, he might also use it in the same way that many politicians used
it... Including the historical Kennedy: we *will* go to the moon; we do
these things not because they are easy, but because they are *hard*...
I cannot think of anything *official* off the top of my head, but there is
plenty of potential there. You can be that both the Soviets and the US
have spy satellites, as well as China and possibly parts of
Europe... However, after the little "tactical nuclear exchange", both
sides would be watching quite closely what the other is doing, and might
even be engaged in old-fashioned "one-upmanship" again.
But you *aren't* likely to see an ISS in the Brave New World... At least,
not involving anyone besides the Americans, anyway, who *might* be so bold
as to call it "International" anyway... ;)
