[BNW] Re: An Announcement
To answer some of the questions:
The rights to BNW revert to me a long time down the road if AEG doesn't
publish anything for it. If that happens, then I'll evaluate the situation at
that time.
Triumph, Inc., was to be the next book after The Covenant. It hasn't been
written, so AEG isn't able to publish it.
Pinnacle didn't cease to support the game. I took BNW with me when I left
Pinnacle and then turned around and sold it to some of the other ex-Pinnacle
partners at AEG. AEG owns the game and was never able to turn a decent profit
on it, mostly because its attention was unsurprisingly focused on its core
properties, notably 7th Sea. I honestly bear AEG no ill will. In fact, I
thank them for taking the game and giving it another year of life that it
might not otherwise have had.
Thanks for all the kind words here. By the way, I'm hardly going away. If you
want to catch up with the other things I'm doing, stop by my website at

Take care,
Matt Forbeck
