Re: [BNW] Milwaukee?

Well, seeing as I grew up and still live around Ol'
Brew Town I should give something. It's not a very big
city, at least compared to Chicago, or now Crescent
City. However, I imagine it's proximity to C2 makes it
a rather obvious nesting ground for Defiants that want
to fight but don't want to live on the battlefield as
Crescent City is. Milwaukee has GenCon around August,
as someone else stated, for a couple more years, it
has Summerfest, I'm pretty sure that's one of, if not
the largest, music festival in the nation, at the end
of June and Beginning of July. The Milwaukee Mile for
racing enthusiasts, which is considered a great track
by racers from what I understand. There's the Pettit
Ice Skating Center, which is the official training
center for the winter Olympics skating teams and
stuff. As for political things, I don't really know of
anything very special. The only thing I can think of
is over in Madison, our State Capitol, is the second
largest government dome, falling just below the White
House. Madison is a college town and in our sixties
was a major national protest location. I imagine Pax
Delta might have it picked out as a place to make camp
and where there's pacifists, there's bullies to pick
on them. Also, the state of Wisconsin overall, IIRC,
up until the forties or fifties, I believe the Mcarthy
Red Scare thing, Wisconsin had a large socialist
leaning politically. In the suburbs of Milwaukee, in
the county of Waukesha, city of Muskego, are old Nike
Missile sites. They've been gutted and abandoned for
awhile, but maybe not in BNW, seeing as how we're
still in a cold war and stuff. Milwaukee and Wisconsin
in general have a large Hmong population. Overall,
it's a Polish and German, or just Eastern European,
descent. The accent is like a mix between the
Minnesotan and Chicagan accents. We say bubbler
instead of water fountain and soda instead of pop.

That's all I can think of right now.
