[BNW] Some questions about Glory Days

I recently picked up Glory Days, but reading through the Deltas chapter, I 
came across some inconsistancies.  Please forgive me if this has been 
brought up before (as I'm sure they have):

1) Is Jack Carpenter BOTH the Yankee and Patriot?

2) Am I also mistaken in that Paolo Parente is NOT the Gangster?

Not nitpicking though, just curious to hear the story.

When will we be seeing anything on Alphas?  I know this last question has 
been beaten into the ground, but I'm curious to know the answer on that.
