[BNW] Coupla questions on combat
I start my first BNW game in a few hours, and I'm reading the combat rules again
to make sure I understand them. There are a few things I'm not clear on, so I
thought I'd ask the group.
1. Thrown weapons. On page 152, it says the Range increment for a thrown
weapon is the character's Speed. But on the weapons list on page 188, all the
throwing weapons (knives and shuriken) have a Range of 5. Which is correct?
2. How do telescopic sights (or vision) affect Range modifiers? As it stands,
even a Gunner with shooting 5 would be hard pressed to shoot anything further
away than a few hundred metres using an accurate rifle. Would sights simply
improve the Range increment; if so, by how much? One of my NPCs is a
Watcher/sniper; how would his power affect the Range?
Neither of these are going to be issues in today's game, so there's no urgency.
But please, anyone with ideas speak up.

choke on my bile and exploded brain-meat.
Before I am done here, you will all taste my brain-meat.
