Wondered about that.  But if you read the rules, one thing does come across:

Brawny says you get Size 6.  _Not_ that you get a +1 to your Size.

On the other hand, Slight says you get a -1 to your Size.

Goliath says you get +2 to Size, not that you get a Size of 7.

So if you go literally by the rules...Brawny doesn't help your Size if 
you're a Were. It does give you a size of 8 if you're a Brawny Goliath 
(although it could be argued that the +2 to Size occurs before the Brawny 
advantage is applied, meaning his size would simply be 7).

Slight's bonus applies no matter which power package you take. This is 
partially borne out by the Werebear archetype, since he does have the Brawny 
advantage, but his Size is still listed as 9.

Matt's opinion may vary, but so far he's consistently handled it in this 
manner...
