First of all you have to examine what games your running. I would never
present both Superman and Batman with this type of situation. With tweaking
it could be equally cool for both.

GM: You find louis in a cage above a pit of acid which is guarded by thugs.
However the thugs are armed with pulse blasters provided by Lexcorps, that
shoot pulses of green energy... :) and the bars of the cage seem to be made
out of the same energy.
