*sigh*  Within the Covenant section.

Specifically, on page 111, under "The NEw Ways" ... on page 112, the 
left-hand column ... on page 113, "The Schism" (note, REverend King is a 
Baptist, and onefo the three leaders of the Schism itself) ... about all of 
page 114.  Also note the "Other Religions" heading on page 115.

To quote page 112:

"   In 1968, a number of Catholic Clergy -- mostly American, but with support 
from across the globe -- declared their seperation from the Church in Rome.  
No longer would they remain aloof from the course of secular affairs, 
trusting that if their faith was strong their rewards would come in the 
afterlife, no matter what abuses they endured on earth.
  These rogue clergy banded together with other ministers from several other 
Christian -- AND EVEN SOME NON-CHRISTIAN -- religions to form a new 
organisation, one dedicated to fighting for peace and harmony and human 
rights in every corner of the planet.
  Because the vast majority of these clergy were Catholic, they called 
themselves the Schism."

The all-caps bit is emphasis added by me.

Granted, the character creation section says that ALL Covenant members must 
be ordained in the Roman Catholic Church ... but that's fro true Covenant 
heroes, not for Schismatics.  =o)  IMO anyway.
