CRESCENT CITY- A spectacular four-alarm fire blazed out of control last
night on the docks of Crescent City. Two firefighters fell during the battle
to put the rampage under control. The total destruction of three dockside
warehouses makes this the biggest arson investigation in Crescent City's
history.
                 Police Chief "Heavy" Harve Newcomb, said  " It's a sad day
when brave men go down in the line of duty. Even if the Defiance didn't do
it, their inaction along with Delta Prime's cost us two good men!"
                Funeral services are planned for Thursday, December 23 at
1:00 PM. All the city officials plan to attend and full honors will be
accorded these men of valor. 
                 This makes the fourth in a recent spree of fires set in the
warehouse and dock districts. No one has been arrested, although sources say
they have two suspects. Investigators pledged to find the criminals
responsible in taking the lives of some of Crescent City's bravest.  
                  The arson team, "Crash and Burn", are believed to be the
top suspects. A warrant has been issued for their arrest. A recent addition
to the Delta scene in Crescent City, these individuals appear to be
dangerous and have no qualms about destroying anything. Sources close to the
investigation say leads on these gentlemen's whereabouts are expected to
bear fruit in the next couple of days.
