Could work - hell, it's not like the punch of a martial artist is going to do more damage
than a gun...
Although:

Tiger Fist:
You have toughened up your hands to the point where a punch from you is equivalent to a sword
blow from lesser mortals =) Damage from your barehanded attacks is Strength+5.

Could also allow them to take the Scrapper trick 'Dirty Fighting', although you'd call it
something else...

Nerve Punch:
Your extensive knowledge of human anatomy allows you to more effectively use your attacks.
With every extra success on an attack that hits the head or torso, you may add 2d6 to the
damage. If you hit a limb, you may elect to disable the limb for a number of rounds equal to
the number of successes instead of doing damage.

Hmm...

Wuxia:
The hero makes a Speed(5) roll - for every success, she can leap 2 inches up and 2 inches in
any direction. If she decides to jump kick an opponent using this trick, she must roll to hit
as usual, but treat it as a charging attack taking all movement into account.

Whaddaya think?
