one of the problems i had was wate do the barroweres offer in return and 
since we have somone who was asking were there any problems i thought i would 
re sind the response

"Officially" -- ain't got no clue..  But if your looking for
suggestions:

- Daemons have agendas of their own...  Perhaps they bargain for a
  little bit of power or independance on this plane of existance...

- Perhaps it is a promise, such as to do something on behalf of the
  spirit/daemon later, either something simple yet mysterious, like 
  make sure a certain person is late for a certain meeting..  or less
  mysterious, like kill one of the daemon's enemies...

- It may be a little portion of the Bargainer's soul, which the 
  spirit may use for some arcane reason, perhaps to gain a foothold
  on this realm...

- Maybe the Bargainer actually brings the being over from the other
  plane.. and the "bargain" is actually to release the being into
  this world, bit by bit, power use by power use...

- Perhaps the Bargainer must sacrifice something to gain the power;
  it need not be something entirely gruesome like a loved one or a
  favourite pet, but may be small sacrifices like money, tobacco, 
  a setting at every meal, etc..

Just some thoughts...
