Tim,

I think you are doing Matt a grave disservice. If AEG were the worst company 
on the planet, it wouldn't matter much. Matt still writes, lays out, edits, 
and controls the complete content of his own books. And there's nobody better 
out there. Guaranteed. Have a little faith, buddy.

As for the missed deadline, Matt's been going through Hell--moving, new baby, 
etc. But he still would have been on time. The truth is, by our original 
schedule, Ravaged Planet was just now supposed to come out and he got *that* 
out for GenCon because we all decided it was important. That has put him 
behind on Defiants--but I think you'll agree it was far better to get RP out 
early.
