[BNW] Dirt Trick

If you use dirty fighter trick of the scrappers 
do you add 2d6 for each success to the damge roll 
or do you take the highest total and then add 2d6 
for each success to the damage. 
I tend to think it would be the first but when 
talking to a friend I began to wonder.
